Connections Group Services
The Connections Group has been a positive force on the political and civic scenes since 1990, when it was founded by political strategist and big thinker Cathy Allen. Over the past 19 years, Cathy has assembled a team of experienced and savvy workers ready to meet the needs and desires of our clients. Today, The Connections Group offers a wide range of services that help our clients to:
- Focus on strategic message development and delivery
- Effectively target select publics
- Build constituencies among key stakeholders and influencers
International Training The Connections Group has provided training and development in over a dozen countries in the last five years, where we have helped candidates in transitional democracies successfully run for political office. Recent clients include the National Democratic Institute in Washington, D.C., U.S. State Department, Mexican political parties, and many private individuals and agencies in Algeria, Angola, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Poland, Qatar, South Africa, Spain, The Netherlands, and Yemen.
Public Policy and Research The Connections Group offers a full range of in-depth research from focus groups and polling to field interview surveys and specific market surveys. We also conduct general research on issues advocacy and competitive market strategies, as well as opponent research for candidates and political action committees.
Political Campaigns From campaign plans to press strategies, from voter contact (direct mail, radio, TV and the Internet) to endorsement-building, and from campaign management to opposition strategies, The Connections Group is simply second to none. We maintain lists, develop fundraising plans, help organize events (major community, campaign and non-profit), and manage high donor phoning and small donor mailing programs.
Public Outreach and Engagement The Connections Group helps clients to effectively define and achieve their objectives in areas of community outreach, media strategy, communications and marketing materials development, identity branding, special event management, and crisis communications.
